I have been a customer of Elizabeth Rose for many years and on each of my visits I cannot remember a time when I left without one (or two) or their distinctive carrier bags containing my purchases. This is not difficult to do because their stock, from well known fashion houses, is second to none plus, an additional bonus of shoes, hats and accessories from which to choose. All this under one roof coupled with the help of a member of their very attentive and courteous staff makes shopping for clothes, whether evening, daywear or casual, a very enjoyable experience.
For me, Elizabeth Rose means quality, great choice, and personal service.

I cannot believe it is almost ten years since I first heard about Elizabeth Rose and took a friend to buy an outfit for her sons wedding. It took her a journey time of one hour to reach my house and a further one and a quarter hours to get to Tenterden. The friendly welcome we received from all the staff, the tray of coffee (or tea) and biscuits beautifully presented, made the perfect start to a blissful shopping experience! We were amazed at the wide selection of clothes and accessories to choose from, and a few happy hours later she had not only found her suit but hat, necklace and earrings, as well as shoes - and I had a two-piece I had fallen in love with! The journey was so worthwhile. This visit set the pattern - in the last decade I have visited Elizabeth Rose two or three times each spring and autumn with different friends to make up a car full - there is seldom a spare seat. We all continue to be amazed at the wide selection of clothes and labels, co-ordinating accessories available, and above all - the very rapid change of stock.
I am so impressed by the super efficient management team who travel to the fashion houses to source the clothes to suit their clientele in a wide range of budgets and sizes. The décor and arrangement of garments displayed on the two floors make it ideal to browse - without the feeling that there are rails of uninteresting clothes to be sorted through! The staff are always so pleased to see us and ensure we are well looked after - nothing is too much trouble and there is no pressure, only helpful advice.
We all believe that in Elizabeth Rose we have the best combination of personnel, the largest range of clothes and sizes, as well as shoes and accessories to select from in the South East of England (and possibly further).
PS I have also found their prices very competitive - other shops in London stores can charge higher prices for the same garments.
